Dr. Jennifer Orlowski, N.D.
Dr. Orlowski is a CNY native. She was born and raised in Syracuse, NY. She attended Oswego State College and graduated with a BS in Zoology.
She then moved to Florida to pursue a career in coral reef ecology. Through some personal health challenges she was lead to Naturopathic Medicine
and decided to attend Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ in 2000 (www.scnm.edu)
to pursue her career as a Naturopathic Doctor.
She has experienced profound life changes in her physical, emotional and spiritual health through the power of naturopathy and this system of medicine and is
committed to educating the public about what this type of medicine is, what it has to offer and how you and your family can benefit form it. This system of
medicine empowers the person to take control of their healthcare and realize that chronic disease is not a normal process of aging and through healthy
lifestyle habits you have to power to add years to your life and increase your quality of life.
Her passion is to educate people about what healthy living is, how the body works as well as why you may be experiencing symptoms. One of the core principles
of Naturopathic medicine is to educate the person and she believes this is vital to successful resolution of dysfunctions in the body. She will educate you on
the proper use of supplements, provide extensive education on healthy food choices and educate about the importance of exercise and stress management.
She does not believe in using a supplement to suppress a symptom and will use a combination of diet, lifestyle and supplement recommendations to help bring
the body back to balance. The main purpose of Naturopathic Medicine is to turn physiology back on or balance over reacting systems in the body; to get to
the root cause of dysfunction in the body.
Dr. Orlowski specializes in Naturopathic / functional medicine and classical homeopathy. She also offers a 12 week program on therapeutic lifestyle changes.
These are simple changes that can be implemented into everyday living that have a profound effect on reducing your risk to chronic disease.
