Beth Loomis, Pilates Instructor
Beth has been practicing Pilates for nearly a decade and has been a certified instructor for over three years. She is passionate about the power of Pilates to enhance wellness and improve quality of life.
Beth holds a BA from SUNY Oswego and a Masters degree from Elmira College in secondary education. She enjoyed a long career as a high school English teacher, from which she retired in 2006. Since then, she has taught at BOCES in Auburn and is an adjunct instructor at Tompkins Cortland Community College.
In retirement, Beth’s passion for Pilates has grown from beginner to experienced practitioner. She knows first hand the mind/body benefits of Pilates and loves sharing that with others. Come and discover the impact Pilates can have on your posture, balance, strength, sense of self esteem and body awareness as you improve all aspects of your functional fitness.
